Glamour Russia Women of the year

It was a big night in Moscow last week at the "2012 Women of the Year Glamour" award. Black and white couture dominated the evening.

The award for the "Women of the year" went to Natalia Vodianova. Aside from her busy life as a mother of two and model, Vodianova lends her support to a number of philanthropic causes, such as the Naked Heart Foundation, the (Bugaboo)RED campaign and Tiger Trade Campaign.

Glamourous indeed, Vodianova wore a beautiful Ulyana Sergeenko black gown.

As for Ulyana Sergeenko, she went home with the "Designer of the year" award.

She wore a polka dot gown from her own creation, as she does so often. Sergeenko had a busy year with her debut in Paris last July, followed by her fall 2012 couture collection in September. Her style is a combination of 19th century Russia with a vintage fifties vibe. She is slowly conquering the fashion market outside of Russia, having Lady Gaga among her clients.

Russian pack's Elena Perminova got awarded the not so surprising "Fashionista of the Year" award.

Irina Shayk kissed her prize as she accepted the "Model of the Year" award.
