We all heard about the old lady that tried restoring a fading 19th century fresco of Jesus in the northern town of Borja, Spain.
Botched restoration, before and after. |
The end result was quite shocking! This damaged art fresco drew thousands of tourist to this little church, collecting about 2,000 euros in four days (with one-euro admission fee). On a positive note, the fresco was set to be repaired by professionals this time, thanks to a donation from the artist's granddaughter.
Here's an idea, how about dress up as a botched fresco of Jesus for Halloween?
A costume on the left and the picture of the damaged fresco on the right. |
Yours truly,
Olga Markiza
